Doggone it
Moving to Jordan means we won't be able to keep our family in tact. We were told, "if a dog is a member of your family," bring it. Well, we have 2. Only one of which I like. Here is the favorite dog:
I'd bring him in a heartbeat. He's a great running partner for the Sweetpea, a good hiking/walking motivator for me, he has a viscious bark when someone comes to the door, he's very handsome, and he sits on my lap at night while we watch TV (all 55 lbs of him!) However, the reason he is such a great running partner is his never ending amount of energy. He can run 8 miles and upon his return, he demands to be let out back to try to catch a squirrel. He's brought me three. In fact, he spends his whole day hunting. He looks out the window and waits til a squirrel appears then goes screaming out back. He's worn a path along our back fence, thank goodness, or else he could get over the 6 foot fence. I've actually seen him hanging from it with his front paws. He's not exactly designed for apartment/city dwelling and I think he could be miserable if we bring hime.
